Have questions before getting started? Find straightforward answers about appointments, telehealth, evaluations, medication, ADHD care, and what you can expect when you come to us for support.
Your first appointment is a chance for us to understand what has been going on and what you would like help with. We will talk about your symptoms, medical and mental health history, previous treatment, medications, and how you have been feeling day to day. You will also have plenty of time to ask questions and discuss what your next steps could look like.
Yes. Telehealth allows you to meet with your provider through a secure video appointment from a private place that is convenient for you. You can discuss symptoms, treatment, medications, and progress without having to travel to an office.
If medication is appropriate for you, we will review your health history, symptoms, current medications, and treatment needs before prescribing. Eligible prescriptions can be sent electronically to your pharmacy, subject to clinical judgment and applicable prescribing requirements.
You do not need to have everything figured out before you meet with us. It can help to think about what has been bothering you, when you first noticed it, and how it affects your work, school, relationships, sleep, or daily routine. Having a list of your current medications and previous treatments can also be helpful.
If anxiety, low mood, trouble focusing, panic attacks, sleep changes, or other symptoms are making everyday life harder, it may be worth talking to someone. You do not need to wait until things become unmanageable. We can help you understand what you are experiencing and discuss what kind of support may be appropriate.
Yes. If you regularly struggle to stay focused, keep track of responsibilities, manage your time, stay organized, or finish what you start, we can look more closely at what is happening. We consider your symptoms, history, and everyday challenges to help determine whether ADHD may be contributing to them.
We will go through your findings with you so you understand what they mean rather than simply giving you a result. If treatment is recommended, we will discuss options that may include medication, therapy, practical strategies, or continued follow-up based on your needs.
Yes. If you feel constantly on edge, find it difficult to control worry, or experience panic attacks that interfere with your routine, we can help you understand your symptoms and triggers. From there, we can discuss treatment options and practical ways to help you manage difficult moments.
Medication and psychotherapy can help in different ways. Medication may reduce certain symptoms, while psychotherapy gives you space to understand your emotions, behaviours, stressors, and coping patterns. If both are appropriate for you, we can use them together to provide more complete support.
Tell us what you are experiencing. Medication needs can change, and finding the right approach may require ongoing monitoring. During follow-up appointments, we can review how you are responding, discuss side effects or concerns, and make clinically appropriate adjustments when needed.
That is completely okay. You do not need to diagnose yourself or know exactly which type of appointment to choose before reaching out. Tell us what you have been experiencing, and we can help you determine an appropriate next step.
